Default Melons

What success have people had growing melons in their greenhouses? I'd like to try but it looks like it might be too tricky for a first timer, especially in Scotland!

I haven't done this before, but one of my relative living in Southern Europe did it. I saw the photographs, they were really big. I couldn't test them but I heard that those tasted good. But he took a great care of those. He tied them with string, used pot compost, brushed the flower to aid pollination.

Hope this will help.
