Hi Tammy, yes you can, but if the eaten cherry was a 'named' variety then it will not grow true - just like F1 variety veggies. You need to wash the cherry pip to remove any flesh then put it between damp kitchen paper in a freezer bag, in the fridge for about three months. It needs a period of cold ( stratification) before germination. Don't let it dry out. Then sow the pip in a pot, keeping it in the house. Fingers crossed!!

Hi Tammy, it all depends what you buy. Container grown trees can be planted throughout the year but bare rooted trees need to be planted when the tree is dormant which is normally from November until March. ![]()
