Exclamation Urgent Advice required on strawberries

Having just cut back my raspberry canes and cleared the detritus I have found the strawberries have sent runners almost the whole length of the border where my fruit trees are.
The Guv does not want me to cut then out. What can I do with them?
How do I treat them to re pot them?
Do I cut and treat with hormone powder or just try to re route them.

Just lift them and pot them up. Nothing else required.

as above, ideally you would have put the runners into pots before they rooted, but it's a bit late for that

i'd just cut them off from the mother plants then dig them out with a decent root ball and see how they do in thier own pots. however such a policy assumes you have somewhere to plant them out....

Nowhere else for them in the garden so they will have to become patio plants in large pots
