Default Moving strawberries

I have some strawberries in pots that have never done very well (they are 4 years old) and since I will soon have a big garden I was thinking of transferring them to a bed of their own. Is this a sensible thing to do or should I start again from scratch?

Hmm never heard that before but maybe it's best to start from scratch again then? Need to wait a bit anyway as I have nowhere to raise baby plants at the moment so anything I grow has to be sraight in there!
