Default Do gooseberries need winter protection???

Hey all,

Just a quick one...For those of you who keep/kept gooseberries in CONTAINERS, do you protect them from frost in the winter in your greenhouses??? or do you leave them outside all year-round???

I got one a few days ago, its about 12in high with 3 braches (not sure on age). Flowers have started opening.

Cheers, Alex
