When do you stop picking rhubarb?

I believe the recommended time to stop picking is the end of July.

They do say that you shouldn't pull rhubarb after June 24th as the oxalic acid in the leaves, which is poisonous, starts to travel down the stems.

Still picking mine with no problems,first time it has continued to grow this late in the year.

Yes, so is my blimin husband - I keep telling him to stop cutting and he doesn't listen I told him off so hopefully fingers crossed he wil leave them the plants alone.
