Grape Vine

Can anyone recommend a outdoor edible red grape vine? I intend to plant one next Spring, and can anyone tell me if you can cook with the leaves? for e.g stuffed vine leaves.

Hi Runnerbean. I have found just one red variety up to now! They are nearly all blue/black or white varieties. Here's the link. The variety is Flame.

I was a bit suspicious about using fresh vine leaves for cooking but this site gives you all the information about what leaves to use, also how to freeze them and a few recipes as well.
