When to plant raspberry canes?

Hello
When are you suppose to plant raspberry canes. I meant to get some in Autumn but never got around to it. If I wait until Feb am I too late? When are you supposed to plant them? Thanks

Hi Julian! Welcome on board!!

If you buy bare rooted canes then they should be planted in November or December - ideally. However they can also be planted in March.

If you buy container grown canes then these can be planted at any time of the year. Autumn Bliss is a great variety. I hope that helps.

Mine have just gone in the ground today.....
