Question Pruning blueberries and figs

Hiya everyone, nice weather today, cold but sunny here in the Midlands.
Two questions please.
1. When do I prune and feed blueberries?
2. Does a fig tree need pruning?

Can someone help me out with this! Thanks

With your fig tree Runnerbean you need to remove all dead, diseased and frost damaged wood in March or April after the worst frosts have passed. It's also important to give the tree protection in the winter against severe weather as the embryo figs are formed in the late summer. These over winter and produce figs the following summer.

Cajary,Thanks for the tips, and oops I did have some figs on late summer I was told to remove these, did I do wrong? should I have left them on? You now know why my son got rid of that new window set up on the Computer, I couldn't understand it at all. RB

Runnerbean the advice I've read is to remove any figs larger than a pea in November. Then the pea sized figs over winter for next years crop.

LJ They were all bigger than pea shape, so I removed them all,in fact they were quite big.
