Help Needed For An Elderly Friend Please.

Hi..we have an elderly friend who loves his garden and is trying to find those things that you stick in the ground along flower beds to stop the hose pipe from crushing the flowers...forgive me for describing them in this way but I haven't a clue what they are called lol....they are plastic and have a spike on one end and a round top on the other....see very bad drawing..
