Default Seed sowing - Help Needed

i have just sown 6 propogators worth of seeds!!! (don't worry - friends and family will be taking some off my hands if needs be)

Have followed the guidance in my wealth of books but not one of them tells me how often I should water them!!

Instinct tells me I should always keep them moist - am I right? Can one of the expert gardeners help the novice Nickless cactus killer lol

A good rule of thumb, Rachel, is to keep them moist, not wet.

Cheers DavidT - thought so. I remember that from when nan was teaching me as a kid!! bizarrely all my books seem to presume I know this :-) 240 cells with a spray is hard on the hands LOL but sure it will be worth it and my father in law is looking forward to my providing him with a variety of different varients of plants this year without him having to spend a few quid at the garden centre...I aim to please!!

in terms of the humidity in the propagators you want a nice mist on the glass but not wet enough to start forming droplets. good tip for cuttings as well
