Micro system versus watering can

I am toying with installing a micro system to my beds and growbags.
As I live right on the south coast and have a south facing garden I am never sure if my veg and fruit are getting enough water.
Temp in my garden can exceed 100F in direct sunlight.
You comments and suggestions would be welcomed.

Using a timer controlled watering system is a very good idea. It makes what can be an arduous task, very simple. It also frees you to do other things.
