I'm not sure if I like the idea of this, but the buildings clothed in plants look quite nice, I think

I'm waiting for someone to come up with the idea of recycled plastic fence panels. If they came like large grids in two parts that snapped together, and they provided a large pad pre-sown with seed that went in the middle like a sandwich then all we'd need is some rain and it would grow
In hot weather we could just give our fence panels a quick hose down. Imagine a chamomile fence panel![]() |

warning this idea is out there by all means. plus it is the result of several beers
![]() ok if, like me, you practice indoor gardening then power bills/environmental impact should be one of your main concerns right? solution: 1 or more sun light tunnel(s) which feed into your grow area/room. obviously you would be fixed to the actual light cycles unless you modify the tunnel to include an 'off' function - a butterfly type open/close mechanism (like you find in a car throttle body) should do the trick ![]() advantages: lower power bills and therefore carbon footprint. moreover some studies indicate sun light is better than any artificial light source or combination thereof. opinions? |
