Default What is your "morning poison"?

So what is that one thing that you MUST DRINK that get's you going in the morning?
I always feel very very sad and bored after I wake up (I always have to wake up at 5 o'clock) but after drinking a big cup of coffe I always feel better. I don't know why but the first smell that comes in my mind after I wake up is the smell of the coffe. :P

I love drinking tea in the morning, afternoon and evening! I love the smell of coffee, but the taste is too bitter for me.

It's not nice that you wake up feeling sad every morning I get up at 5am most mornings too, but I'm one of those really annoying people who springs out of bed full of the joys of spring...!!

Lesley, when I was a boy even the smell of coffee would make me throw up. Can even make it now but could never drink it.

My mum is exactly the same David! She can't cope with the smell at all, it makes her feel so ill!

I like a good, strong, black cup of coffee while I sit on the front porch and plan the day. Of course my "cup" is a 24 oz. insulated tumbler so it really gets rid of any cobwebs. For me a cup of tea is something I drink when I have a sour throat and a head cold, with honey and lemon. Always thought there was something a little off about someone who wouldn't drink coffee though lol.

Coffee, strong and milky (yes I know that sounds daft, but thats how I have it).

On most work days I will have had 4 or 5 coffees and a Red Bull before 10am

COFFEE! My Coffee machine makes about 6 cups, so once thats gone i'm good for the day. Usually only lasts util 10am. Can't resist fresh coffee.

Tea tastes odd, I can drink mint tea like they have in the middle east, but the stuff we get in Tea bags tastes funny.

She's banished coffee from the house, so it's really my dad and any guests that you need to feel sorry for!! lol

She also has lots of other quirky idiosyncrasies too... she can't walk through a shop that sells perfume ~ the smell makes her feel ill. When I and my brothers and sister were living at home she used to constantly sniff our clothes.... she's lovely, but strange!

Bleugh to any hot drinks at any time, almost without exception!

Fruit juice or a berry / banana smoothie for me most mornings.

Tea, LOTS and lots of tea - one sugar, dash of milk please...

If it's delivered to me when I'm still in bed then all the better
