Default Morning from Breezzzyyy Gloucestershire

Well to be truthful it's blowing a Bl%%#y gale

We have just had to go out and secure both the tomato houses to the wall and fence and have roped and staked down the mini greenhouse to stop the whole garden blowing away

The wind is causing mayhem with the apple tree, and there is fruit all over the floor and we thought at one point that the beans and courgettes were going to end up in another county

Hi WW,
We are just up the road from you(worcester) & must agree, its a tad windy here.
The gales howl round the flats here, & my poor little plot on the corner gets a right Battering, so i tend to grow fairly low growing crops in this bed.
The small "Houses" only this year, have not bothered with the tunnel, (Needs slight attention here and there) & am i glad after this mornings wind, would have probably have made it to your house
Stay indoors with a "Glass" is todays advice, resume normal duties tomorrow
However, let the wife carry on with the "Lunch"
How thoughtful we are sometimes
cheers stupo

Hi "Boss"
You managed to get out of your "Pit" then
"Windy" Les, (hubby) Share & Share alike
We "Never" hear him "Complaining"

"Nude Slug Hunting" is enough for us
I think we will leave the subject of how your "Turbines" perform

Mind you, good excuse to let go today, be stale tomorrow

cheers stupo, off to the bathroom with a tissue of course

Take a look at my new thread 'polytunnel DISASTER.'

I know what your talking about with this wind. Very sad day for my partner and I. Plant funerals being planned, oh and one for the polytunnel too probably

We're down in Berkshire and its so windy here too - but perfect washing drying weather!

I have been reasonably lucky; just one of my tom tubs fell over and a handful of soil fell out, no plant damage!

Errrrrrrrrrr, are we sure about this "Statement"

We have no choice, but to take your word for that "Boss"

"Poor Hubby Les" being a bit "Mutton Jeff" he would never be able to confirm either way, and of course we couldn't ask the "Neighbours"
What would they hear from 3 miles away

cheers stupo
