Talking Introducing Florence and Ethel!

At the weekend we got two Guinea Pigs, Florence and Ethel!

I have always had Guinea Pigs, shown and bred them before but never had any of this breed, Alpaca. they have coarse wiry fur with a kink-curl!

They're only 5 weeks old but settling in nicely!

Aww... They are well cute. I used to have a guinea pig, it had the rough hair too. He was called Chino. They make great pets. I always think about him when I peel carrots coz he loved the peelings, lol.

They must be tiny at only 5 weeks. Your so lucky. Took me a year to persuade my boyfriend to let me get a cat.

No I dont think they will. We have an outdoor hutch but I wanted them to be in just do they get used to noise and sounds and being handled alot.

If the weather is really cold, like we saw at the start of this year I will bring them in.

I want to convert one of our sheds to a "piggie palace" but maybe next year! hehe!
