Hi there my gardening friends.
5 years ago, myself and a professional weather forecaster from Birmingham created a website together as we are weather fanatics. Thus Weatherchat was born. We then got on board another expert weather forecaster who is based in Vancouver and over the years, our family has grown and we then decided to expand so not only would we cover the weather but a whole host of other subjects too, thus WeatherchatPLUS was born. We are a small community and have just revamped the whole site, new colour schemes, new sections aswell as new experts such as 2 reptile experts,a tax officer etc but the best expert we now have on board is none other than our Lesley Jay!!! Lesley has agreed to do a section on our site under Lesley Jay's Vegetable Garden with updates and information for all members and she has also authorised me to put up this post within here as i wouldnt dream of plugging a site without authorisation first. It would be wonderful if you my friends would join our site too as i know alot of you out there are professionals within your own rights. Please feel free to pop over and take a look at what we have on the forum and i hope to see you shortly. I am known as Ice on there. Many thanks for your time and once again,Many many thanks Lesley for your kindness and help. Tracey. xxx WeatherchatPLUS can be found at: WeatherchatPLUS - excoboard.com |

Lol,im the same. We had tornado strength winds yesterday down here and my hubby has masts etc erected in the back garden and his portable mast had fallen over onto my cucumber plant! I told him on the phone whilst he was at work and he said 'Any damage to the mast?' to which my reply was 'Sod ya mast, tis my cucumber im concerned about!'
![]() But im a bugger anyway for looking into my tubs and seeing if anything else has grown, tis very rewarding. By the way, this current weather is due to stormcells originating from France and mixing with deep depressions coming in from the west, thus nasty winds, torrential rains and thunder although we've not had any thunder as yet. Should be brightening up after the weekend with warmer temps building again. xxx |
