Default Airshows.

Do any of you like Airshows? Im really giddy and very excited as hubby won a competiton at work and we're going to RIAT in Fairford on sunday to see the airshow! I cant wait, plus we get a free nights stay in a lovely hotel in Gluocester saturday night. Then next weekend we have Farnborough airshow and asbeen as we live bang next to farnborough,we're having them doing their practices right over the top of our house! Yesterday we had the red arrows, the raptor and the F18 super hornet! We're waiting for the beloved vulcan XH558 which is due over here in 5 minutes, thats our baby! And the end of August,we have Dunsfold wings and wheels which was fantastic last year. I shall report in on monday about me RIAT trip!

Not really a fan of airshows but absolutely fascinated by the science of aviation, space travel and nerdy stuff like that.

Terrified of actually flying... accepted it as a nessesary evil to my addiction to travelling though.

Living in Blackpool is fabulous because its only a few miles away from British Aerospace in Warton so we get a few airshows. The Red Arrows spend a lot of time in the summer practicing here so we see a lot of them for free.

I love the red arrows, the planes are cool but my awe goes to the pilots who are so skilled and talented.

Remember to post lots of piccies of your trip and have a blast!

I certainly will scottishbaby.......as soon as i find my camera! Must put up pictures of my veggies too, that'd help wouldnt it!
And yes,the Red Arrows are superb and so much concentration is needed but have you actually heard them over a radio whilst they're doing displays? They are comical,i can tell you! They scream and shout and laugh, you've never heard anything like it. I suppose its to get the adrenalin pumping!
