Unhappy Missing Boss

Hi "All",
Ok so has anyone heard from the "Boss Lady"?????
Is she on her "Hols" again, moving house, given herself a "Red Card"?????

Or she could be working "Nights" again in that new village, she is moving to, armed with her "Secateurs However, no "Nude" pics were present in the "Anglesey Times"
I will have to check weather she has popped in a "Holiday Form" or a "Sick Note", which might explain her absense.
As "Heads of Security" i am sure Mr Marmite or Mr Spud, will be able to shed some light on recent events

I suppose she will turn up eventually???

"Poor Hubby Les" how must he be coping

Anyway, she can't have got far she is on an "Asbo" and "Tagged"
so at least the "Police" know where she is hiding.
Any sightings can be posted here,,,,,,, cheers stupo

Hello. I thought Lesley was with Lilo and Sydney. Phoned them and she is not with them. Kidnaped by slugs and jailed for nude slug hunting. Who knows ????? and where's David T strange things are afoot.

Tradedemon I saw him. He's got a few posts to his name and admin may be Lesley's other half. I sat in a corner the other day and couldn't find my way out.
Lesley could be on holiday or jury service, there is a case on at the moment about cruelty to slugs using pellets, salt or sissors.
Out of context I belonged to a web site that the owner went AWOL and we found he had sold said forum site and all our email addresses. A new person had started the new site and forum using our details and we got emails saying we now belonged to him. Dont think he liked my reply as I got baned. That site has no followers anymore. TradeDemon has been an admin here for several years (since 2007 actually). Although, he isn't Lesley's other half.

As for Lesley, I haven't heard from her for a while but I have just emailed her. I hope all is ok! I'll let you know if I hear anything from her.

Thanks,
Adam

I was wondering about the "Boss Lady" and Mr. T too. I hope we haven't been bad little boys and girls and incurred their rath! But I more suspect the evil slug nation has been plotting against our fearless leader to exact their revenge. I've been expecting ransom notes for some time now along with incriminating photos. As my favorite detective would say "The game's afoot Watson", and I'll do what I can from this side of the pond!

Yes I have been worried about them, too. Have given the 'border' patrols a description. If they see somebody after dark lightly dressed with secateurs, *(now, there can't be that many about up here) they will let me know immmediately.

Hi Mymate,
Yes things not quite the same, without some of the old regulars, putting there own forms of "wit" to paper, (i mean screen).

However, this time last year i remember the forum going quiet, as the season came to an end.
With the weather the way it is now, i think i will start my "Hibernation" early this year
Winter supplies of "Medication Scotch" have been pre ordered Loads of other stuff, cans of "Special Brew" Bottles of wine, Pernod, Brandy etc etc etc:

Oh, and a loaf of "Bread",

you never know??? We might get "Guests"

Take care Friend, regards to "Mrs M" and the family, cya soon, cheers stupo.

We finally managed to have 5 days of summer, otherwise it has been cold and windy and wet. I was thinking of trying to grow rice or water chestnuts
Saying that, the equinox gales are on us, so it will be a bit breezy now. Anything up to force 8 is seen as a mild wind up here
Hope the Boss Lady will appear again soon.
On the otherhand, there is no one to hand out any 'cards'...

Hi Again Shetty
A Whole 5 days of summer How lucky you are up there
Can you let me know the dates,, for next years 5 days, so i can book a holiday in the "Sun"

We had a good start to the season here, however, things went down hill very quickly. Tooooo many wet days, not enough sunny 1's
My chilli plants have not been as "Productive" as i expected but we have a few fruits to keep us going through the cold winter nights.
As for the other crops, i would describe our yields as "fair" considering the way things have been, weatherwise.

Good luck with the rice and chestnuts

Oh, and be careful, regarding the "Cards" there is a "Demon" about

No cards, but a "3 Pronged Fork", That reaches places, other forks can't reach

Have a nice "Wet Day" friend, will catch up again soon, regards to all, cheers stupo

Hi guys,

Just to clarify, I run and own the site, however Lesley is the community manager and has been for many years.

I don't know where she's gone to but I'm sure she'll be back. In the meantime I will do my best to grab her and find out what's up.

Thanks
Zee

Hi Zee,
Thanks for the reply, although a little vague, at least a response.

We have a "Nice" friendly forum here, ("Carlsberg"),

Since i have been a member & under the guidance of the "Lovely Lesley" (Boss Lady), who has supported this site, i have watched as the membership has grown, to its present state.

Granted, you can't please "All" the people, all the time, but if we were all the same, how boring life would be.

Like said in previous posts, could be an "Innocent Reason" for absense, but some kind of "Confirmation" to her wellbeing, would be great.

Thanks again for the info provided, Hopefully, better news will follow
cheers stupo.

Smile Hi Everyone!!

I'm back!!!

It's really lovely that you missed me and it's absolutely great to be back!!

Thanks everyone!!

The reason for my disappearance was that we were hit with debit card fraud - they emptied our bank account - and at the very same time the subscription was due on my Norton internet security. So, with no brass in the bank and direct debits for the household bills that still had to be paid, I have had to wait to renew my Norton subscription. I just couldn't risk going online without the Norton security.

Welcome back Boss Lady

Hope you get your card problems sorted and soon. I slightly know what you are going through. I had my credit card cloned, but only lost a few hundred that the card company covered.

Regards

WW
