Volunteers needed in Ashford, Kent

Hello Vegetable Gardeners!

I am writing from the Caldecott Foundation, a children's charity based near Ashford, in Kent.
We have eight residential homes, each with its own garden, and we are looking for volunteers who love gardening to help make this a beautiful place for children to stay.

The Caldecott Foundation works with children who have suffered the worst extremes of cruelty, abuse and neglect. We provide residential care in our family-style children’s homes, education in our purpose-built school, and bespoke therapy. We aim to re-build lives and equip our children to face their futures with confidence. The childrens' environment is a key part of this process- the nicer one's surroundings, the easier it is to respect them, and to respect oneself.
