Default Any holidays in the pipeline?

Thought I'd start a thread to see if people have got any holidays to look forward to in 2011?
I've got no beach breaks booked for the minute but I do have my fifth wedding anniversary coming up so I think I'm going to take my husband for a nice little weekend break somewhere. Would quite like to head to a new European city that I've never been to before. Has anyone got any good suggestions at all of where I should go?
I was thinking about something even a little closer to home and heading to Dublin as I have never been! Theres meant to be a lovely botanic garden in Dublin which I've always wanted to visit. But don't know many other sightseeing spots apart from that! I know...I am so uncultured.

I'll be off to Cologne and Berlin in spring and a week in Prague later in the year.
All great cities, with loads to see and do

Unhappy None Again???

Hi All,
Being very poor, i aint had a holiday for years.

Been to "Worcester Beech" Every year since we moved here, but we only have to walk down the steps

It would be nice, to fly on a plane again, visit a holiday park, or just sit in a tent for a week.

However, the "Bank Manager" must be paid first, (So he and his shareholders) can enjoy their "Several" vacations per year

Being poor has its advantages though, All the money in the world wont buy you "Happiness or Health", and the best of all I aint made of stone but i have blood, which they might want eventually but it wont be much good i dont think, being from a "Peasant" (not Blue)

Anyway, i hope you "All" enjoy your hols, you have no doubt earned them
cheers All, stupo.

Hi saturna,
Just looked in the "Paupers" dictionary,

"Holiday" ;;;;;;; Apparently, a "Pastime" of the "Rich" or those that have the thing called,,,,,, "Spare Time" Oh, & "Cash"

Hope you understand this definition

I found it a little strange as well Never had either of the above.
Good luck for the season, ahead, "All Work & No Play"
cheers stupo.

Would quite like to head to a new European city that I've never been to before. Has anyone got any good suggestions at all of where I should go? I found this website online www.casamundo.co.uk that has quite a few accommodation options all over Europe so I am open to all suggestions!

Not sure where youve been in europe but Venice is amazing, but also Dublin, both ridiculously expensive

If you do go to Dublin, get on the dart train to Howth, lovely

But if you do try Venice, don't get lost!!!

With it being Janurary, and a few people on downers i'd better not say where i'm going on feb the 14th

I'm trying to plan a holiday, but it's proving much more difficult than I anticipated! (stupid teletext website with their fake holidays... grrr!!!)

If you want to go to a European city, it seems it's all about Berlin (apparently the zoo is just incredible). Pragues also good, and relatively cheap.

I'd avoid Paris, unless you want to spend an absolute fortune!

We're off to see family in Suffolk and then a Haven park in Great Yarmouth later in the
month. We know how to live!
We live near Geneva. I'd suggest this
Is a nice Short break!
