Default Paraffin for greenhouse heaters??

Hi - was thinking of getting a paraffin heater for the greenhouse for when it may be needed later in the year - but where can you get paraffin from these days??? I don't recall ever having see any anwhere???

B&Q sell it, I bought some the other week...but I have seen it in Focus and any decent garden centre

I too bought some a few weeks ago from B&Q. And as mclarke18 says all good garden centres should sell it.
Usually sold in 4 or 5 litre containers.

If you have oil-fired central heating you can also run them on the kerosene used for that, just drain some out of your tank as and when required, I tend to use a barrel pump to get some out of the tank

I've an unheated GH, what are the typical running costs of a parrafin heater? My GH is 7x10 ft.

try a good diy shops

the one near me sells it,im also sure the allotments sell or sold it

try your local allotments if they have a committee ask them

My first job in 1999 was in a Q8 petrol station in East London, we use to sell it and they still do, customers just bought a token from the cashier... my point is your local petrol station may sell it
