Default Polytunnel Water Collection

Hi Steve,

I came up with an idea of a stick-on gutter at a company I used to work for.

We designed a PVC extrusion in a "j" shape with a self-adhesive backing. This was stuck directly onto the polythene at a gradient of about 1:10. The rainwater tracks along the extrusion and drips into a water-butt/bucket/container at the end of the polytunnel.

The idea wasn't as successful as we'd hoped as the adhesive wasn't really secure enough in the long term (especially if the polythene wasn't tight).

You could knock up a similar solution using polythene repair tape.
