Default Greenhouse Advice Please

Hi,
I am looking to get a greenhouse, I have decided on one of two sizes either
6 x 8 or 6 x 10.
Which glazing do you recommend either horticultural glass or polycarbonate.
What website do you recommend for them.

Thanks
Neil

Hi Neil, if you buy the 6 x 8 you will be kicking yourself every year when you are short of room that you didn't buy the 6 x 10!! I've only had a glass one so I can't compare with polycarbonate. There are loads of sites selling greenhouses, some sites are really expensive, others aren't, so it depends on your budget - do you want an inexpensive one??

I have had this one about a month now & am very pleased with it but agree with Lesley, if you have the space go for as big as you can afford.

Gardman 6ft x 8ft polycarbonate greenhouse - Summer UK Greenhouses

Neil, go for the biggest one you can afford which will fit in your garde. I would suggest using polycarb for glazing, especially if you have children or dogs. It also saves on insulation in the winter and shading in the summer. Just make sure it`s glazed using silicone.
