I always sow my courgette seeds one seed per 4 inch pot and then plant them outside after the last spring frost so, I would transplant your seedlings into 4 inch pots making sure that you hold the seed leaf, not the stem. Courgettes grow into big plants (they can grow three foot across) and need at least three foot between plants (if not more) when planting out or one plant in a 10 inch container. Keep the plants watered properly and I give them a feed with liquid seaweed once a week.

Neil, the predicted last frost date for your area is mid May.
