greenhouse shading

I was just wondering has anyone used or is using the nixol greenhouse shading you paint on and it then goes opaque in sun and clear in dull weather. If so, how do you get on with it? is it any good? does it do what it says on the tin? I would go for more permanent shading but am not about during the day to pull it down and lift it up again so any tips on this stuff would be welcome. I know you can use cool glass but it always looks messy to me and with a 10 foot high greenhouse what a pain to clean off. good luck and thanks to all.
