Id say to certainly look for a plastic or polycarbonate one if youre going for a second hand one. You can buy DIY assemble greenhouse kits online, but make sure its reputable (the store that is!)

I got a second hand glass greenhouse, Myself and my grandfather took it down in about 3 hours, put it back up in 2 on my own and took about 3 hours to glaze it. Spent quite a while cleaning it before putting it back up. Taking it down yourself is good because you then know how to put it back up!

I've recently ordered a greenhouse from here:-

I just bought a beauty 2nd hand ... simply placed an advert (free) on the web site for Adtrader ....... had loads of phones call of people offering me greenhouses.
My 12' x 8' looks like new, and cost me less than 25% of a new one. |
