Default tomatoes help please

A friend said he thinks i should be removing the bottom leaves on my tomatoe plants below the bottom truss of tomatoes,
is that right please, ???

I do remove the bottom leaves. It helps air to circulate and more light. This practice seems to be favoured by many. Indeed some people also advocate the removel of leaves further up the plant. However I would not defoliate too much.
