Top work! You really have made an excellent start even before planting a thing! It all comes down to do you want to grow to sell or just grow for your own needs? Or a mixture of both? You certainly have room to grow enough plants to make a nice secondary income or grow everything you need for the kitchen table! If you are growing for profit then I would suggest some chilli plants as these are easy to set growing yet the plants sell for a good price.
One thing to consider is doing a deal with your local greengrocer and trading him your excess crops for other vegetables that you want. I have a friend that does this and he basically pays for no vegetables e.g. he gives the greengrocer tomotoes and potatoes in return for leeks and carrots as an example.
Keep us all up to date with your progress!

Bit of both but with a difference im a landscaper by trade so i would like to start using the small tent for growing anual basket flowers might even branch out start growing some bigger plants for use on work projects will help the cash flow as i can charge a handsome amount for them. The big poli is coming along nicley i took the rotavator down there today but OMG! hot jesus was mental the rotavator over heated after 30 mins the fuel can was bursting on the thing but least we did a bit really just to see what the soil was like as the area is very clayie crap but i think prevouse owners have done a good job in replacing with good soil so happy days just got to organise the tent path down the middle, trying to think of a way of catching as much rain as pos off the tent but as its not flat guttering will have to be modded to move with the curves of the tent then ill rig it straight into a weapy hose system but hey thats miles away yet gotta sort the soil ou yet. The big tent is for the family kitchen i would like to grow everything we need in the kitchen all year round if thats possible do you think this is possible to keep us in veg without visiting the supermarket?.

Ill upload the pic of the part rotavated tent later on, Taking time out chillin in the garden bbq on beer in hand haha god bless wireless internet haha

Would it be viable to sink some underground water tanks link the drainage pipes to them then pump the water up using a 12v submersible pump? Or you could just use a small 5 gal sump with a float switch and pump it to overground storage again using 12v pump, which would be very simple to rig up to a solar panel.

good idea i dont need to go that far there is a mains supplie 30 odd meters away which is no biggy to run a long hose to or i could get the mini digger dig a trench t off that supply and have a stand pipe next to the tent.
The gutter catcher idea is to run gutters either side of the big tent maybe with dpc flapped from gutter to tent to take the curve of the tent setions to maximise rain intake down pipes linked into 2 water butts then have leaky hose attached to the butts have the butts raised to get good flow down the pipe this is just an additional low cost watering system really just as a top up feed.
