Smile Garlic Spears, tops, scrapes!!!

Has anyone tried eating the curly wurly tops of garlic. They're starting to be regarded as a delicacy.

Yes we did, this past summer. They were from a hardneck variety ( I don't think that the softnecks send up the shoot) and were delicious lighly stir fried in butter. Would also be nice steamed or fried in olive oil.
