Horseradish

I,m a fan of Horseradish and i wondered if anyone has grown it? I would like to hear about it, for instance does it come in seed or plant form and where would i find it to buy?

It is best grown from a cultivated root, (It is actually classed as a herb I think) rather than from seed, and as such a search on th 'net is probably your best option, that said I read up on it recently, and you can grow it year on year, simply breaking a part of the root off to start next years crop, I guess in much the same way as garlic bulbs.

Just read another thread under Kitchen Vegetable Plot on this Forum that Horseradish can be pretty invasive and hard to get rid of, so i,m having second thoughts about growing it?
