Default Mint leaves going purple

Hi

I have just taken cuttings from a healthy mint plant, but the new growth of leaves on these new plants are now turning purple.

I have attached a picture to show this.

New growth is green and then goes purple.

Can anyone help??

Thanks

Stuart

Hi Stuart, welcome to our forum!

Purple leaves is usually a sign of a phosphorus deficiency. So I would transplant your cuttings into some fresh compost and either top dress with some Growmore or add a little bone meal in the planting holes.
