my Macaw is growing his own too

After poting up my seedlings I saw a new seedling growing in with my melon pot. I thought it must be an un-germinated melon seed. The seed grew and grew just like something from jack and the beanstalk. I now know it is a sunflower.

When my seedlings were being hardened off I put the pots next to my Maccaws cage and he must have thrown one of his seeds into the pot. He now has a nce supply of fresh sunflower seeds.
