I use the hanging baskets to grow my lettuce and salads. It keeps the slugs off

Smile "Nice Job"

Hi Potty,
"Nice Job" that, really nice garden.
Like the idea for lettuce in the baskets, (i grow toms in them) will try a few leaves this season. "Nice Tip" thanks.

Lily, did you manage to upload a photo yet????? if not, i would be quite happy to run through the process with you, or you could send a private message to "The Boss Lady" the lovely "Leslie", i am sure she will help.

cheers stupo.

Very kind of you, but I put it down to nutrimate and always being on slug and caterpillar patrol I also never water untill after 6pm and I only water the soil. If I could live in the garden I would

I think that's just lovely and fabulous.

I'm hoping to have some flowers this year as I didn't have any area to plant them in last year, i'm slowly progressing but it's a big pile of mud (at this wintry moment) lol,

Your picture brings inspiration....Bring on the spring!

I think your hanging baskets of lettuce is agenius idea! Im going to give that a go! I use old guttering for mine usually and pop them on a window sill. Still doesnt deter the bloomin' slugs though!

I'm a lady

I don't know about anyone else here, but I'm desperate to get in the garden and do things. I've got peppers sown on the kitchen windowsill and I hope my sweet cicely pops up this year. The rhubarb is emerging from its slumber so I can't complain
