Default Do I pick off the flowers on potatoes

Hi there

I have some potatoes of which im going to plant out when ready to into large tubs. I see on some websites that you should pick off the flowers when they flower cos it takes energy from the tubers. Can anyone assist.

Thanks

I always take them off. When they flower they are putting all their energy into setting seed, you want all that energy going into tuber production. Of course, I will probably be told I`ve been doing it wrong all these years.
