Is anybody else in the same boat, dying to get the seeds sown but, every time you think it's over, a new batch of cold weather creeps up on us. This seems to have been a long Winter. I suppose, we might get an extended growing season if were lucky......... bring on th sun !

Totally agree garden barmy! I really had been hoping to get in the garden this weekend to get underway but yet again...more snow!!! Feels like it's never going to get warmer!! I have however got all of the indoor sowing going on at the minute: tomatoes, peppers, chillis etc and my study looks like a massive propogator farm!!

Exactly! This has got to be the longest winter I have ever seen. A new 3 cm layer of snow this morning, adding to the 30 cm in the garden. And I haven't even started any plants indoors, because I'll be moving to a new house and garden in a week! I think I'll have to stick with the basics this year, like potatoes, carrots, beans, tomatoes, etc.

I've given in to my itchy fingers and spruced up the greenhouse with lashings of Jeyes fluid On Monday I shall be sowing peas and broad beans into root-runners
