you dont get cross with the inlaws bringing 10 "fruit shoot" drinks for the kids, as you know they would make good plant pots lol

You can't bear to garden in gloves, even tho it wrecks your nails.

You know you're a gardener when only bare hands will do and you love planting, hand weeding and pulling up thistles without gardening gloves, those ham salad barm cakes taste great with the additional muck off your hands, you give insects the thumb and finger treatment - before you eat the ham salad barm cakes - and whenever you go out your OH gives you grief about the state of your hands and nails which are permanently stained from the clay soil. Don't you just love it????

When you get home from a hard days gardening, unable to stand up straight, and knowing you are going to do it all over again tomorrow.

you can pick nettles without gloves (and then actually like to eat them), you have to extend your window sill and every pair of trousers you own has brown marks on the knees

you get out as early in the day as you can~and despite feeling like your back can take no more ~you only come in after several more hours .....when it is too dark to see what you are doing

You know you're a gardener when you still dig and weed after midnight by a bright halogen light

It's called WeatherPro and I have found it to be fairly accurate. It has lots of options temperature, hours of sun, wind speed, % rain etc. It also displays average temperature graphs and shows you satellite images.

You enjoy the walk round the local garden centre of an afternoon but frown at all the ridiculus prices!
