Im one to forgive and forget normally, but such things cannot be tolerated!
* shakes fist* If I accidentally prune a wrong stem, Im mortified and guilty for hours afterwards! Your wife doesn't seem nearly sorry enough! Hand her a pillow and a sleeping bag, and send her to the sofa! |

you could of planted the snapped part and hoped it rooted, then you'd have 2 plants. Maybe should of mentioned that yesterday.

Pmsl. My dad gave me 8 seedlings and told me they were peppers. I. took them home and planted them up in my growbags. Merrily told the garden club at work that I had loads of pepper plants and was waiting for them to get big and strong and give me loads of peppers. Course, being my first year of growing I didn't have the foggiest notion that 5 of the plants were sunflowers that he'd grown for me!!!!! Have sewn more pepper seeds and hoping they germinate
You can grow new chillis easily enough right now I'd imagine but obviously it'll take a while longer to get any fruit ![]() |

Hi Shaun,
What type of plant is it?????? and do you only have the 1 ??? Kimby is right, you could quite easily start some new plants off now, but i feel the chances of you collecting fruit this season would be a little low. ![]() I only say this because some varieties can take as long as 120 days to fruit. However, you could always "Overwinter" a plant or 2 giving you a great start for the next season. If your plant does fail & you find yourself without any chillies you could pm me your address and i would be glad to send you a few of mine to compensate for your loss. You will have to wait a while though, my "Nagas" and "Bhut Jolokia" are 2 of the varieties that take the full 120 days to fruit, i do have some "Prairie Fire" & Numex Twilight that should provide a few fruits a bit sooner. If you would prefer? i could send you a few seeds that i have spare, the choice is yours friend, ![]() cheers stupo, |

You could always go to a garden centre and pick up a cayenne pepper plant for about 79p. I also have about 4 plants spare, but not sure how posting them would work.

Hi Reweed,
I was not thinking of sending the plants in the post, but either seeds or a bag full of chillies when they are ready. ![]() Having not heard from shaun, then maybe he already has a back-up plan ![]() I have an abundance of seeds here, (well quite a few) so dont mind parting with some for a "Good Cause". cheers stupo. |
