Justed wanted to see if I can get these pics up and show how my little plot is coming along. The weather has been wet but things are ok for now and it sounds like we'll be getting some sun next week. The pics are of cucs, courgettes, squash, onions, tomatoes, beans, gourds carrots, and the like.Attachment 427

Thanks Lesley. I can't take too much credit for the flowers. I have a bad balance disorder that won't allow me to work or drive so I've moved in with my Mom, Dad passed 5 years ago, and she is the flower expert. I told her what you said and she said "Thank you" for the compliment. Alot of people drive by slowly to admire her work. The flowers you can see are larkspur and roses. There are alot of annuals on the other side that I'll try to post when they are better established, as well as my veggies. A couple of the pics that better showed the toms and peps wouldn't load, but this was my first try at even putting pics on the net so I'll try again in a few weeks. Thanks again, and I really do enjoy this site and the great people on it, all of whom give great advice and ask such very good questions.

Wow Husker that's fab! I was out your "neck of the woods" in April... well almost. My Mum (Mom) and Sister live just west of St Louis MO. My Mum has struggled to adapt to the varying weather there and different soil in her garden in comparison to the UK!

Thanks to everyone for the kind words, they do mean alot to me. Lesley the big purplish flower is a tropical hibiscus. We also have a red one and an orange one. The blooms don't last long but they surely are pretty. We have to bring them inside in the winter (the house turns into a jungle what with my cactus, orchids, hibiscus, and various house plants that spend the warm months on the porch outside) and they do ok as long as they get as much sun as possible.

Wow, excellent looking veg plot. My courgettes and beans are going bonkers at the moment. I've opened on potatoe bag (results attached) and am drying my onions in the kitchen (pic attached).

Wow. You must be proud. I realize a people like to show off pics of their vegetable gardens. I'm thinking of installing a software on my website to allow visitors to do this.

When I do I hope beautiful pictures like yours will be posted.

Yes, that is why I only planted half the cabbage. Even here, it may cause severe frost. I have enough cabbage first, I will not be able to plant all. Therefore, if the door who is dead, and then I come back if they do not, I will give up the extras.
