Identification of plant please

Hi, wondered if anyone could tell me what I have growing in my greenhouse. I was given some plants by my mum (aurbergine, tomato and peppers) but this has grown and I have no idea what it is.

no idea sorry but i had to post to say it looks awesome. do you think its edible? i has a similar layout inside as pomegranet but its all spikey, i hope someone knows

Thanks. It doesn't smell particularly ripe if that make sense, smells very planty and not very appetising. Wonder what it could be. This is a picture of the flower about to open:

Probably completly wrong. I saw fruits like this once called Achochas, which looked similar from the outside. Never seen them cut open or the plants, but was told they were similar to cucumbers. So don't know, there seem to be a lot of seeds in there.

Hi Ballistic, I'm no expert but that looks like wild cucumber to me or if not its very VERY similar. Have only seen them when visiting family in America and they are weeds over there

If it is that, I'm not sure if the fruits are edible?

Thanks for your replies. Seems it is a Datura (angel's trumpet)

The last thing you would want to do is eat it looking at the side effects
