Default I may soon have a...

Allotment!

Rang up our local village (well the village down from where we live) to put myself on the waiting list for an allotment (was pretty much thinking there would be loads of people on the list) to find out that there were only two.

And to make it even better those two people have just got plots!

So that means I am next inline for an allotment I am so excited about the possibility of moving from "the kitchen vegetable plot" to the allotment board!

Pointless post but had to share the news with like minded people who would share my excitment

It is a bit daunting though knowing you may soon have a rather large (to me) plot of land to tend to and care for :/ But i'm sure it will be fine! If in doubt I'll just plant lots of courgettes- I seem to be able to grow those...

Congraulations! You will be able to grow lots and lots of veg on an allotment plot!

Congratulations! hope you dont have to wait too long for it.
I started out with a few containers. A few years on I've got the back garden given over and i've put in a couple of raised beds in the front garden so it's probably an allottment next
( then a small holding... then a farm... then...)

Congradulations Nicki! Just think of all the great things you'll be able to grow now, and the planning you can do this winter. Keep us posted on your progress.
