Default Garden / Allotment update (now with pictures...)

Hi again all,

Here is (finally) some photographic evidence of how the garden and allotment are doing, I'm so pleased with everything since I've got back from my holiday, it's all looking so good

And so, on with the photos...

The dying corn from the trough and also some chilli plants I got ready grown (cheating I know but they're coming along well).

More corn and chillies.

The trough of plenty - this holds two different varieties of beans, peas and a couple of little gem lettuce underneath all that foliage.

Pepper (Capsicum) plants in the hanging basket.

A pepper on one of the plants.

The wall of plenty - I had a minor disagreement with Mother Nature on this one when one of the poles collapsed taking out half a bean plant, the rest seem to be coming along great though - these are all White Lady Stringless Runner Bean plants.

Some beans on the wall.

Some more beans.

Tomato plants coming along well.

Dead pleased with those plum tomatoes.

Some peas in the small (old ice cream tub) pot on the table.

I got these Radishes on a day trip to Calais, thought they'd be worth a try

My little car adorned with some bean plants on the way to be planted out on the allotment.

Dwarf French Beans (Ferrari variety) up on the allotment.

And they come with BEANS on them too

Beetroot.

Some more of those Dwarf runners on the allotment...

...also with beans!

A whole load of Savoy Cabbages growing well.

Corn and squash corner.

One of the little Squashes.

Three more Squashes (on another one of the plants).

Close up of one of the cobs on the corn plant.

My hideously overgrown spud patch...

Some carrots.

Some of those beans from the top of the car ready to hit the patch.

More carrots.

Bramble bush

Brambles.

More brambles - I thought these were an autumn fruit myself - wasn't expecting any until September at least but these bushes have kept us in crumbles for the past 6 weeks.

An earthworm comes to visit Always welcome.

I invited this cabbage home for dinner

And that's that - SO PLEASED with it all!!
