Hi Shaun
I had the same issue - one of my chilli plants didn't start flowering until the start of November and it was in the greenhouse! It's now in the windowsill too and has quite a few flowers and small fruit. Don't forget to pollinate by rubbing the insides of the flowers together gently cos that'll do the jobs that the bees can't do right now. As for it being wrong - think it's just one of those weird things that's gonna happen now that our weather patterns are all messed up. Keep us updated ![]() Kimby |

Well all my chilli plants have just about finished now, still got a hand full of chillies growing on the ones left. BUT the cat knocked one of mine off the window sill late summer, the main stem snapped a few inches above the soil and I thought it was doomed. Left it in the pot by the kitchen sink waiting to empty it all out and within 2 days it had loads of tiny leaves sprouting all over, so I left to se what would happen, within a few weeks there little tiny flower buds too, but to honest it's still in my kitchen and it's cold in there I think it's stunted now, I might move it to a warmer windowsil and see what happens. I've cut a few of the others down now to try and over winter them like Stupo sugested and they have some tiny green shoots forming.
can't wait for spring to see what happens |
