Default Buying seeds

I'm going to buy this year's seeds from Real Seeds for the first time, partly for collecting seeds later on but mostly for the quality and sucess. But this will mean spending over £60 on seeds which is a lot more than I expected. If I went to Wilko I'd be spending less than half probably but I don't have much confidence in them.

What is the best thing to do?

Stuart

Hi, good choice with realseed co. good quality seed and easy to germinate and grow. With some of there packets though they give you over 200 seeds and at an average of £1.50 it soon mounts up.
Try moreveg.co.uk for some of the veg you might not grow that much of as they realise this problem and sell smaller quantities at 50p or 75p a packet.
Hope this helps.

Moreveg looks like it might get my business. The idea of less seeds in a packet means I won't be wasting them when they're lost in the shed

Thanks

Decided to go for "real seeds" after all as some friends want some seeds for this season as well.

Bella, my 2 year old, has already started some coriander on the kitchen windowsill much to my wife's delight

30 seed propogater for £3.28 from wilkos

these seeds are probably sourced from the same growers that all the other seed companies use . all seeds are real seeds (plastic dont grow) this is just another marketing ploy that uses the "organic" myth to make money from people that should no better no grower can guarente any better germination than is the natural % for that plant
dt brown is cheapest for good quality seed (no connection only a customer) or for bigger quantities mole seeds who supply data sheets with good info
