Post Crop Rotation Advice Needed

Hello ALL !
I am in a bit of a quandary, i have three raised beds about 10ft x 10ft, two get pretty good sunlight most of the day but one is more shaded particularly in the late afternoon, in the less sunny bed i grew cabbages, peas and Brussels sprouts last year and they all turned out well.
My question is, am i right in thinking that as spuds need good sunlight, therefore with the rotation system i have to put carrots, parsnips etc. into the more shaded bed? will they do alright there?
Also i have a strip of 40 ft or so which is 5 feet wide, this butts onto the open side of the three raised beds which are three sided with railway sleepers (this strip is basically where i put all the stones when i was preparing the raised beds)and backs onto a Beech hedge, i would leave a 3 ft strip between the hedge and the strip i intend to plant in (the Beech was attacked by aphids - white in colour - last year but myself and my neighbour cut it back (twice so as not to stress it too much) and sprayed it twice, however i,m sure some of them may have overwintered, although i,m not sure if the very severe snow and frozen ground (for about 5 weeks) may have killed them off. Any advice would be most welcome,Regards Hammer.

I've grown potatoes in a shadey patch in my garden before. The sun doesn't get to the bottom of my garden, in the summer, till around 2-3 o'clock and they thrived! I made sure that when I planted them I worked a lot of fish blood and bone into the soil as I knew they wouldn't get much light and this seemed to spur them on! I also applied more to the surface of the soil after they hade been earthed up a few weeks. The variety I grew was rooster and they had a beautiful flavour and were very large in size.
