Default Growing garlic in containers

Hi Folks,
Looking for advice. Can anyone instruct me what I need to have for growing garlic in containers?
Due to limited space I have to grow most of my veg in pots i.e. potato's onions ,runner beans peas and peppers.
I have some experience with potato's and runner beans and have had some success over the last two seasons mainly using growbags.
As I haven't the finances and space for raised beds I intend to use some large troughs I have found at Wilkinson's for my tomato's and cucumbers (trying an upright type this year instead of ridge) and making a frame to support them.
I have some "Sturon" onions set to plant out soon and have got on order "Solent White Garlic" to plant out but I am unsure what the pot will need to make them flourish.
Below is a photo of my garden and it's limitations. to the right is the fruit border to the left the salad /general veg border.
