Default Brussel Sprouts

I put some brussel sprout plants in my new raised bed last Autumn, but they didn't really grow. I think I put them in a bit late. I left them in over winter, and now they have started to grow. Will they be any good, or should I pull them up?

Personally I would be inclined to dig them up and start over. Because it's said that sprouts have a better taste after a frost and if you leave them to grow they will be ready a long time before a frost!

I would leave them as they will definitely produce Spring shoots and greens which are absolutely delicious in late Spring when there is not much else around.

Yes thats how we do it at college, i am old fashioned and like them boiled to within an inch of their lives but the modern way is to do them that way.i love sprouts! my fave is left overs mashed and fried in butter with tons of black pepper. also like them fried in bacon fat, man alive that is the best ever.
