Default Chillies in cold greenhouse

I have my chillies and peppers on a sunny window sill in the warmth of the house. I have also left four in an unheated green house and they have already stood night temps below freezing and are actually thriving. It is going to be an interesting experiment to see what happens to them. has any one else tried this?

I would cover them with fleece myself.

I did grow some indoors last year, but I wouldn't have thought they'd do well in frost... they are listed as tender. I agree with vegetable gardener, I would cover them with fleece, or keep them in a cold frame.
