I put in a number of Cauliflower plants a few months back.
Growth is strong, plants look every health now a good 2' high dark green leaves .. and not a slug or caterpillar bite mark (used enviromesh this year) My question is when should the hearts start forming ? .... while stems & leaves are large and healthy ... no white heart to be seen. |

It depends what type of cauliflower is it: summer or autumn ones? But you'll have to wait a little while - like 3 months. Have you planted them out yet?

They were bought as plants and planted out at least 5 months go ... they are now 2' to 2'6" high, very healthy growth ... dark green leaves - but no heart.
Just concerned if there is another 3 months to go they would be the size of a fridge |

They must be summer ones. They should be forming a heart. The heart can grow quite rapidly - but you'd expect some heart.
Strange.
