Default Early onwards peas no flowers

Hi its been a long time since i have grown peas 20 yrs since allotment. i have 4 rowes of early onwards which are now 18-24" high and looking healthy but their is not many flowers as of yet do these appear last or is thier somthing else wrong maybe any suggestions

Hi Paulch. As long as your plants look healthy and are doing well I wouldn't worry. It may be the variety or the weather but if you're like me you just can't wait for the first fresh peas for dinner . 18-24 in.? I'm jealous mine are only 8-10. Good job.

Don't worry, they'll get there, I've got 4 sugarsnap plants that are well over 3ft tall and have only just put out flowers now... Patience mon ami, patience!

Thanks for replies. Today i see the first flowers, i did put down a lot of growmore, and i wonder if that caused the foliage groeth so much, and next to the peas my broad beans have done very well.
